Piccolo VS Knuckles Q/A

   

 So incase you didn't know, since Piccolo VS Knuckles was one of our bigger blogs, I decided to host a Q/A. Simple as that. We had about a grand total of... 8 questions, but hey that's still good.

Without further ado: Here's the Q/A!

All questions answered by yours truly, Pegasus! (With some input from fellow team members of course, on some questions)

Questions

1. BlueG01denRat: Not really related to Knuckles VS Piccolo but what makes you think Meta Knight is boring in versus?

Pegasus: Honestly, compared to Zero, feels like a huge stat merchant when you look at all of Zero's powers. My opinion though so you can ignore this

2. MacaqueFanN1:Why is Hyper and Super Knuckles included when they have been stated to be non-canon, also (from what I heard) The Knuckles from Superstar is consider a different Knuckles from the mainline so idk if the Chaos Emeralds power up should be given to him.

Pegasus: For 1, Super Knuckles is technically canon in Sonic Heroes. As for the Superstar Part, sure the Knuckles is different, but I would suggest that the Chaos Emeralds likely have similar powers, showing as the Yellow one always seems to control the flow of time in or not in Superstars.

Pootis: We included Hyper Knuckles because he's cool. And to compare with Orange Piccolo, but mostly the first one.

3. Fezzih: Why you guys didn't give Piccolo the Senzu beans? Is should't be the unusual for him to carry some. 

Because then we'd have to account for Knuckles using rings to sustain his Super form, and that just makes things complicated, so we didn't use either

...Anyways, I actually have a couple questions, if you don't mind;

-Why wasn't Knuckles given _______ from Sonic _______?

-How does Piccolo get the multiplier advantage, when the greater scaling (to Jiren and stuff) only applies to Orange Piccolo?

-Why wasn't Metal Cooler's feat mentioned?

-Immeasurable speed?... But timer??? (Both series)

-Could they not just seal each other?

-Could Knuckles not just nullify Piccolo'd powers with the Master Emerald?

-Tiny Time Skip question: How do you consolidate the differences between the Manga and Anime version? Given the Manga does give it a specific weakness to power, while the Anime doesn't.

-You forgot the most important stat: Monkey Win Track Record!!

-Piccolo doesn't have a junk, while an echidna's have 4 heads. This is automatic win.

Anyways, thanks for asking. You see, Knuckles didn't get _ because Sonic _ is non-canon im sorry.

Piccolo can further boost himself with the Great Namekian forms or focus the ki into certain parts of his body, the former makes him much stronger, while the latter causes the affected parts to be more powerful and fast at blows.

We didn't use movies for Piccolo. Thats why you don't see Gogeta's Big Bang, or Broly nuking a galaxy. Garlic Jr is from filler too which is why he's there.

uh... it's PLOT! Thats why the TOP had 48 minutes pass and Sonic levels have a timer that goes up, because plot reasons, trust.

Technically, Piccolo's the only one who has shown counteraction to sealing, buuttt that's evil containment wave specific. However, if I remember correctly Knuckles's also involves dragging around the master emerald to seal Piccolo in, and Piccolo would need a container and a seal marker, and they aren't carrying that in their pockets all the time. Even if they did, it's 50-50 considering how both can destroy the other's sealing methods.

I'm pretty sure the Master Emerald cannot directly nullify ki like it would a Chaos Emerald. Regardless, Piccolo can just shoot one ki blast and that's gone, considering how he can likely sense it's capabilities.

I like the manga TS better because it's a timestop while the anime says Hit seals away the skipped time in a pocket dimension. Just call it a time stop bro :wilted-rose:. The anime also has similar weaknesses too being able to be broken through by sheer aura.

5. faba8yefybea8obf (oh hey lol): Which one had more personal relevant media to their name?

Like, beyond just being THERE in a scene or scaling shenanigans. Rather, stuff they'd personally done that added to the debate in some way.

Adding onto that, which one's media took longer to analyze?

Given Knux's forms were only used before a lot of the current Sonic stuff happens, is it really fair to give him some of the abilities or feats that Super forms did later?

Case in point, I think Knux punching Super Sonic should have just been explained to be because it's a reaaally old game, where obviously no one was thinking about the greater Sonic stuff.

Oh, and does Knuckles chuckle.

Well... probably Piccolo, I'm not gonna lie. You know, Super Hero gives him a form that literally allows him to beat Knuckles. Without it, he probably would have lost, I'm telling you.

Longer but more fun: Knuckles

Shorter but more boring: Piccolo

I mean to be fair, the Chaos Emeralds don't change in powers or abilities, the characters Base forms do. Plus Knuckles should know a lot about Chaos abilities and Super forms thanks to the knowledge he has from protecting the Master Emerald.

I mean, we still wanted to explain it because SOME people still buy it. Also I REALLLLY WANTED to make a SPEED BLITZ!!!! meme of that

Contrary to popular belief, he does. He legit did in his first appearance after snatching the Emeralds.

6. My name is Leonardo De Angelis: What was the hardest Knuckles/Piccolo material to obtain for the blog? (I also wonder if 2006 had an event that significantly affected the result)

For Knuckles it was probably feats (esp for Knuckles himself). Piccolo was scans for the cosmology and higher D justifications, as usual.

...Once upon a time there was a dude named Solaris that introduced some hella crazy powerscaling for the verse...

7. TMaakkonen: Knuckles' Cyloop can generate Rings, technically with no limits, but even being realistic and assuming its not actually infinite supply in practice, shouldn't Knux have potential to have significantly better stamina with Cyloop? Since Super Forms take no physical damage, Piccolo might have hard time to prevent Knux from generating Rings with Cyloop. Or do you think Piccolo can still stagger Knux to prevent him from gaining enough Rings, thus making Cyloop not good enough to help Knuckles?

From my knowledge (though I could be misremembering) you have to go to the ground (not in midair) and then use cycloop to dig up rings. Considering the skill and mind reading Piccolo has, he could definitely catch on fast and probably blow up the land where Knuckles is trying to target. Also, Super Forms can actually be affected or especially knocked back, as shown by Giganto's attacks which pushed Super Sonic back, and Piccolo could likely do the same. It would eventually reach the point where it's likely a waste of time to try and get rings, with the dwindling amount Knuckles has. 

In short, yes, Piccolo can definitely prevent Cycloop.

8. Ryuki: I don’t like that you guys left a lot of more Knuckles haxs. Also Knuckles has way more equipment that would counter Piccolo’s abilities. Also, the moment you people use the fact of things like the Daizenshuu for the 5-D afterlife (something that was debunked a lot time ago) I already lose the interest and is obviously made the blog a lot of a bias towards Piccolo. And is obvious more when you guys don’t accept Tails mention of Infinite dimensions (when he was talking that could be have possibly infinite SONICS, not dimensions, that was the theory he was talking)

le sigh... there's always someone like this.

1. We called both the afterlife thing and the tails infinite dimensions valid in their own right but also dismissable and debatable

2. There's one sonic for every universe... unless you're saying there AREN'T infinite universes!
